I wasn't a lot of use but did my best lol Making tea is pretty easy really, and writing the names on the bottom of pages
The begining of the day in the local hall. I wasn't there at 8.30am !!! Well, I am old! But all was under way by the time I had walked up there. A lovely walk, as I had, had a rather emotional start to the day knowing it would have been Johns 70th Birthday. Well, if I admit to it, I am still a tad teary. So we are off !
and this is the badge Nicks made. They were all made with peoples names on and, of course the blue balloon!
Then the raffle which took ages as so many prizes were so gratefully received. Yes, I did win a bit lol
Georgina [Nicks daughter] read out the names as I drew the tickets. Not sure what Nicks was doing haha!
I made a little thankyou speech at this point but don't think you want to see the photo !!
A wonderful week for me albeit very emotional, but I did have a day out with the lovely Beryl on Thursday, a very cold day so, kept to the shops to keep warm.
A HUGE THANKYOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH HUGBINDERS.
and here they all are ready for the Post Office to send out and the END
But this one is coming home with me !!!
