Our Day At The 'Craft Barn'

Nicks arrived on Friday. After lunch, she had the satisfying task of de-icing our freezer !  Bless her, she did that without falling in [I wouldn't have left her there!]
Saturday, we left at about 9am, and arrived in Lingfield at 10o/c.

Difficult to park, so she dropped me off at the shop, and went off to find a parking spce. Unfortunately, in a rather dubious location, but, as it was, the car was in one piece, when we got back to it, to come home.

A quick look around the Barn, but we spent a bit in case they sold out !!  Well, it wasn't worth that chance.
We had to walk to a church along the High Street - well, I hobbled. But, at least Nicks didn't put me in OH's wheelchair , which she had threatened !
We were there really to see Suze Weinberg, to those uncrafty people reading this, she is the 'High Priestess' of ctarfting. Wonderful work and lots of different ideas
This time, she played with the melt pot and bees wax.
I just had to go back to the Barn for beeswax, as I have never played with it, and the results are stunning. [If I can remember how to use it lol]

A few more puchases - well, it's rude to just LOOK.  A cuppa in the nice little tea shop, before makiing our way home.
I felt OK, even though I had a few twinges in my poorly back.  I had been in bed all week with a muscle spasm.  But a visit to Sainsburys for a salad meal and a glass of wine finished off the lovely day with Nicks.

This is a photo of me and Suze. This is a photo of the pendant she made with the melt pot, and I managed to shout loud enough to have it as a birthday present !!!!
This is the back and I cannot decide which side I like better

This is the front

Gorgeous jewelry.

This is an ATC which means an Artists Trading Card where people from all over swap these little cards. They measure 2 1/2ins by 3 1/2 ins and they cannot be bought.
