I must say I was a bit befuddled by this frame
Well, wouldn't you be ?
In itself it is gorgeous, but Katherine said Nicks and I had to alter it. UGH!!! I have been so afraid to touch it, but took the plunge, and sprayed Gimmer Mist over it in gold, mauve and sea green.
Heck! Would it tear the tissue? ER! no it didn't and left it overnight to dry.
Left it for another day, but then, decided to fill the squares in with mauve accent beads on Crystal Lacquer. When they were dry, I coated again with the lacquer, to give them a shine.
Used Croco 'Bluberry' for the middle.
I wasn't happy [of course, I wasn't !] with the colour, so glimmer misted again. Trouble there, was, it covered the accent beads, so I had to blot out each square LOL
I went through all of my moulds, and came up with the veiled lady. I like her a lot, but haven't used her, so, thought ,here was an opportunity. The hand seemed to fit too. I coloured them with Perfect Pearls,
Four leaves in the same manner in the corners seemed to fit in
Well, here is the finished product and I wait in anticipation for Katherines comment LOL
Like Nicks [completely independantly] I too have a purple/cream bedroom so it will go on the wall, pride of place.
Thankyou Katherine for giving me nightmares xxx

Oooh Mrs S it's super fabby! I want to put something in my niches too but what I got off Ebay just isn't right. Just may well have to borrow your idea! You and Nicks have put me to shame so I must now pull my finger out and get mine finished. Each got a memento of a brilliant afternoon.xx
