Christmas came early this year

7o/clock Saturday 13th December turned out to be the best.  The doorbell rang, and there, singing 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' were Ian, Nicki and the three Grandchildren.  John had to get up, as he goes to bed at that time, but, hey! well worth the effort.  Enough food to feed the five thousand turned up by van.  Sleeping arrangements had been sorted out, so I didn't have to worry about that.  After a cuppa, and a pizza delivery, we settled down for a chat.

Sunday morning [Christmas Day !] we all found Christmas stockings on the stairs lol  The start to a wonderful day.  Nicki did all the cooking, but before we sat down, the mystery box, which had arrived the week before, and I had been forbidden to touch, was opened and out flew some balloons!  Yes, all prearranged.  A real Christmas dinner, which we all enjoyed.  Some more than others haha!  John did very well, but needed a rest afterwards.

The afternoon brought games and lego building

Boxing Day we had sausage and mash with lots of sweet stuff afterwards, well, what else can you have on Boxing Day ?

Then the grand finale CONFETTI BOMBS and a FLYING CHINESE LANTERN.  We sent the lantern flying up, up and away sending our wishes with it.  A truly wonderful way to end the weekend.

God Bless you both xx
