Our visit to Scotland

On the spur of the moment, as is our want, we decided to visit our Son and family in Scotland for two weeks. I had unpacked, only to be told to repack a case for a two night mystery visit, which turned out to be at 'Big Sand' Gairloch right up in the mountains. We overlooked the mountains and loch, and even though it was rather windy, managed to get to the beach. The self catering house was pure luxury. Under floor heating, touch lights and a colour scheme which was very well thought out. Purple, to mauve, to pale blue, to turqoise and greens. All with touches of beige/cream.

I had a Birthday tea and Keira, who was 2 on Sunday ,had one too so a lot of excitement.

Sunday, we climbed over dunes at 'Redpoint' to another sandy beach and blue sea. Have to say, the dunes, in places were VERY steep and I wouldn't even think of sliding down, unlike some haha We did get a bit sandy but it was fun.
