There it is Gone
Christmas that is ! I didn't see a lot of it as I was ill in bed, with a heavy cold and chest infection. However, we managed to get to Scotland to see the other three Grandchildren. They also had colds, but that didn't stop them enjoying themselves. Our Son, Ian, cooked Christmas dinner with the help of Nick,i who wrote out a time schedule. But I was very proud of him, and wished I could have done it more justice. John did though !!!
Here are one or two photos from our day.
Looking at the rosettes on the parcels, brought to mind, I made some for presents, for my Mum, and an Aunt, who stayed with us one year. I must have been about 15 at the time, and made them from strips of paper. They took ages, but both Mum and Aunt were speechless, so I now, wonder if that was the start of my artistic career. I loved playing with paper, but there was not the choice we have today. Well, who knows it must have come from somewhere !
