My fantastic weekend

Weatherwise, it has been a glorious Autumn weekend. Sunny and warm and blue sky. Except for first thing Saturday morning, very foggy, when my bessie friend, and I went to Alexandra Palace for our regular visit, to the Big Stamp and Scrap booking Show. It is held in the April and September when a crowd of DoCraft members meet at noon, under a palm tree, for a natter, and a lot of laughter. Home from there picking up fish and chips on the way and a couple of wines - well bottles !!! My Norfolk friend, Nicks, comes on Friday. She had made me a beautiful brooch to wear. A 'Queen' with a sparkly crown to fit my name of 'Sparkles' ! We go out for lunch, usually at the Malta Inn in Maidstone. We had a stroll along the towpath, no I didn't fall in haha A giggle from the moment she walked in until she left on Sunday afternoon. Loaded her car up with apples, beans and frozen plums, oh and a few fuchsias !
